Repair Estimates & Authorizations

We follow the repair authorization requirements set by AMVIC (Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council). These rules exist to protect you as a customer, and we're happy to follow them.

Estimates

• Written estimates are provided upon request before work begins
• Estimates include a description of the work and the estimated total cost (labour, parts, and any equipment charges)
• If diagnostic work is needed first to identify the problem, we'll tell you the maximum cost for that diagnostic work upfront

Authorization

• We require your authorization before performing any repair work
• Authorization includes: your name, the date, description of work to be done, estimated cost, and your confirmation
• If you authorize work by phone, we record the time, method of contact, and all the details above

Additional Work

Sometimes we discover additional issues once we get into a repair. If the final cost will exceed the original estimate, we'll contact you for re-authorization before proceeding. No surprises.

Warranty Information

Most repairs performed at our shop are covered by the NAPA "Peace of Mind" Warranty:

• 24 months / 40,000 km coverage (whichever comes first)
• Nationwide coverage at participating NAPA AUTOPRO locations across Canada

The warranty is provided by the NAPA AUTOPRO network. Some exclusions apply, including:

• Internal engine and transmission repairs
• Tires and batteries
• Preventive maintenance services (oil changes, fluid flushes, etc.)
• Body work and collision repair
• Commercial vehicles over 17,000 lbs GVW
