Exhaust System Service
Exhaust Repair Done Right
OEM parts. Honest diagnosis. And we don't shy away from the hard stuff.
If your vehicle is louder than it should be, smells like exhaust inside the cab, or has a check engine light related to emissions — it's likely an exhaust issue. We handle everything from straightforward muffler replacements to the repairs other shops send away: cracked manifolds, broken bolts, and rusted-out components that need careful extraction.
We use OEM and OEM-equivalent parts for factory system repairs. We also install cat-back systems and complete diesel exhaust kits. What we don't do is custom fabrication — no one-off builds or welding up custom pipe work.
What We Repair
Rusted, leaking, or damaged mufflers replaced with OEM-equivalent parts.
Cracked manifolds, warped gaskets, and manifold bolt extraction.
Diagnosis and replacement when needed (emissions compliance).
Rotted sections, broken hangers, flex pipe replacement.
Sensor replacement and emissions system diagnosis.
Seized, rusted, and snapped bolts removed without damaging the casting.
Full cat-back exhaust replacement and upgrades, properly installed.
DPF-back, full kits, and diesel exhaust system replacement.
The Jobs Other Shops Send Away
Broken Bolt Extraction Specialists
When exhaust manifold bolts snap off — and they do, especially on older trucks and Alberta winter vehicles — most shops won't touch it. They'll refer you to a machine shop or tell you the head needs to come off.
We extract broken bolts in-vehicle whenever possible. Our technicians have the tools, patience, and experience to drill, tap, and extract without damaging your cylinder head or exhaust port. It's painstaking work, but it saves you thousands compared to head removal.
This is one of those jobs where experience matters more than anything else.
OEM Parts, Factory Fit
We stick to OEM and OEM-equivalent exhaust components. Factory parts fit right, seal properly, and last longer than universal parts that need adapters and clamps to make work. Your vehicle was engineered as a system — we keep it that way.
When to Get Your Exhaust Checked
- Louder than normal operation
- Exhaust smell inside the vehicle
- Check engine light (P0420, P0430 catalyst codes)
- Visible rust or damage under the vehicle
- Failed emissions-related inspection
- Rattling or vibration from underneath
What We Don't Do
We don't do custom exhaust fabrication — no one-off builds, custom headers, or welding up custom pipe work from scratch. If you need something purpose-built, we'll refer you to a fabrication shop. We install manufactured systems (cat-back, diesel kits) and handle all factory exhaust repair.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about exhaust repair
How much does a muffler replacement cost?
Most muffler replacements run $300–$600 including parts and labour, depending on the vehicle. We'll give you an exact quote before starting any work.
Can you fix a cracked exhaust manifold?
Yes. We repair cracked manifolds and replace failed gaskets. If the manifold is too damaged to repair, we replace it with an OEM part. Broken manifold bolts are extracted in-vehicle whenever possible.
How do I know if my catalytic converter is bad?
Common signs include a check engine light (usually P0420 or P0430 codes), rotten egg smell, reduced power, or failed emissions. We diagnose with scan tools and exhaust gas analysis before recommending replacement.
Do you do custom exhaust work?
We don't do custom fabrication, but we do install cat-back systems and complete diesel exhaust kits. For factory exhaust repair, manifold work, and bolt extraction — that's all us.
Why is my truck so loud suddenly?
Usually a rusted-through muffler, cracked exhaust manifold, or broken flex pipe. Bring it in and we'll put it on the hoist to find exactly where the leak is.
Can you extract broken exhaust bolts?
Yes — this is one of our specialties. We extract broken and seized exhaust bolts in-vehicle whenever possible, saving you the cost of cylinder head removal.
